Called in on spec as passing by on our way home following a long, muddy walk with the kids and our Springer! We asked if we could come in and were welcomed with open arms.

It was 4pm on a Sunday and limited to the Sunday dinner which was not a problem. I have to say we were all so impressed with the food, quality of service and friendliness of all the staff. A thick slice of beautiful tender beef (kids had chicken which came wrapped in bacon), a huge homemade Yorkshire, loads of fresh veg served in individual pots (which I love) and ample gravy, so reasonable priced too.

Thank you for looking after and feeding us so well, we will be back.
