At The White Swan in Dunham on Trent, we take pride in offering our customers of all ages everything they might need, from the moment they walk through our door.
So, whether you’re over our way to meet up with friends, have a drink in your local, enjoy some family time, or just get a bit of friendly company, here are some of the facilities we have on offer when you do.
Safe and fun kid-friendly facilities
Sometimes, when you’re a busy parent, all you want is the chance to relax and unwind for a bit with a nice pint or two, while you watch the children play and have fun.
Set in a safe environment, which is surrounded by secure fencing, the children’s play area in our large pub garden includes a park with slides, climbing frame, pirate ship and swings.
Inside there is also a kids family room, while children are, of course, welcome throughout the pub and there is a special children’s menu available for smaller appetites.
No more worrying about hearing ‘I’m bored’, because there’s plenty for children to do when you visit The White Swan. Baby changing facilities and a bottle warming service are also available for the really tiny members of the family.
Local Pub/ Great Food
Not only do we offer a friendly and welcoming retreat for people of all ages, but we’re delighted to provide a delicious selection of home-cooked food. Our fresh, home-cooked pub food is served every day from 12pm until 9pm and we are renowned for our delicious Sunday dinners. When it comes to a beverage or two, we have a selection of locally brewed beers which include the popular Pheasant Tree and Scrumpy Wasp. Other cask ales are also available, so, if you’re a fan of real ale, why not come along and have a try?
Function room / casual meeting room available
For that extra bit of privacy, whether you’re hosting a birthday party, anniversary or other special occasion, we have our very own function room available. This area is also useful for casual business meetings and other more formal occasions, where a group needs to meet away from the main part of the pub. Coach groups and motorbike clubs are welcome, there’s no need to pre-book.

Kick back and relax in the comfort of a cosy chair in front of an open fire, while you enjoy great company, along with your favourite food and drink. Benefit from further facilities which include an outdoor smoking / eating area, a large garden which means plenty of space for everyone. And, for a great night out, we even put on live music on the weekends.

At The White Swan in Dunham-on-Trent we even have our own campsite and well-stocked fishing lake with carp! Facilities include the following:
